The qualification federation - available from the federation registry - allows to validate or demonstrate the proper functioning of a SAML entity in conditions close to the production federation (called the Education-Research Federation), without polluting it with irrelevant services for all participants.

Conditions for registering a SAML entity in the qualification federation are the same as for the Education-Research Federation.
In particular:

• The SAML entity must be previously attached to an organization having subscribed to the RENATER identity federation service;
• The SAML entity cannot be simultaneously registered in the test federation.
